Welcome to GAC — Let’s Get Your System Activated
This page guides you through the quick setup process for the GAC Cross-Border Safety System.
Most families complete activation within 10–15 minutes, even without technical experience.
1. Prepare the Items in Your Starter Kit
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- GAC Home Hub
- Power cable
- Motion sensors
- Door sensor
- Bed sensor
- Bathroom activity sensor
- Safety pendant
- Adhesive pads / mounting accessories
- Your activation code (included in the box)
2. Set Up the Home Hub
- Place the Hub in a central area of the home.
- Plug it into power.
- Connect the Hub to the home Wi-Fi (or LTE backup if available).
- Wait until the indicator light turns solid blue.
The Hub is now ready to pair with sensors.
3. Install the Sensors
Follow the quick placement guide:
- Motion sensors → Living room & hallway
- Door sensor → Main or kitchen door
- Bed sensor → Under mattress edge
- Bathroom sensor → Opposite the bathroom entrance
All sensors use peel-and-stick mounting and work immediately once placed.
4. Activate the System Using Your Code
- Visit the activation portal:
www.goldenagecare.com/activate
- Enter your activation code.
- Provide the parent’s home address and basic information.
- Add emergency contacts.
- Create your family dashboard account.
The sensors will appear automatically once detected by the Hub.
5. Test the Home Safety Pendant
To confirm everything is ready:
- Press the SOS button once.
- You should receive a confirmation message on your dashboard.
- Our system will automatically cancel the test after verification.
If the pendant includes fall detection, gently shake it to trigger a test.
6. What You’ll See in Your Dashboard
Once activated, you can view:
- Real-time activity signals
- Daily routine summaries
- Behavior insights
- Alerts & event history
- Support options
Everything updates automatically — no action required from your parent.
